1. Overview

Argus Stock Radar ("we", "our", "the app") is a Shopify application that monitors product variant inventory levels and sends email alerts to merchants when stock drops below a defined threshold. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

2. Data we collect

We collect and store the following merchant data:

• Shop domain — used to identify your store and scope all data to it.
• Product variant IDs and titles — the products you choose to monitor.
• Alert thresholds — the stock quantity you set as the trigger level.
• Email recipients — the email addresses you configure to receive alerts.
• Subscription plan — your current billing plan (Starter, Basic, Growth, or Pro).
• Alert logs — timestamps of sent alerts, used to enforce the 24-hour deduplication rule.

We do not collect any customer personal data. Stock Radar only processes inventory data at the product variant level, not at the customer level.

3. How we use your data

• To monitor inventory levels for the product variants you configure.
• To send stock alert emails to the addresses you specify.
• To enforce per-plan alert limits and manage your subscription.
• To prevent duplicate alerts for the same product within 24 hours.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party services

• Shopify — we access your store's inventory data through the Shopify Admin API, subject to the permissions you grant during installation.
• Resend — we use Resend (resend.com) to deliver alert emails. Email addresses you configure as recipients are transmitted to Resend for the sole purpose of sending alerts.

5. Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as you have Argus Stock Radar installed on your store.

When you uninstall the app, your alert configurations, subscription record, and associated logs are deleted within 48 hours. This process is triggered automatically by Shopify's GDPR shop redaction webhook.

6. Data storage and security

All data is stored on a private server located in Germany (Hetzner Cloud, Nuremberg). Data is not transferred outside the European Union except when transmitted to Resend for email delivery. Access to the database is restricted to the application process only.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about your store.
• Request correction or deletion of your data.
• Uninstall the app at any time — all data will be purged automatically.
